GR Mouthpieces was the most helpful in gaining the answers needed on the subject of mouthpiece clocking.

My first response from GR Mouthpiece company came as an Email from Brian Scriver representing the company. It was suggested that Mr. Gary Radtke (GR mouthpieces) would prefer answering my questions by phone which eventually turned out to be a two-hour discussion, answering all of my questions as to the validity and reasoning behind clocking trumpet mouthpieces.

Stay tuned to find out from this very reliable and extremely qualified expert on this subject.

Clocking old mouthpieces tends to illustrate the fact that newer mouthpieces are made with closer tolerances than the older mouthpieces.
