This is the ensemble that got me started thinking of trumpet ensembles.
Tim Zimmerman was the first person who inspired me to pursue an active interest in trumpet ensemble music.
The Kings Brass was the first ensemble to demonstrate what could be done with our chosen instrument.
There would not have been a Branson Trumpet Ensemble if it weren’t for Mr. Zimmerman support in our early years in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
The amount of dedication Mr. Zimmerman has given to great brass music and his love for the Lord is far beyond the norm.

“the best in brass.” From New York to San Francisco, from Chicago to Florida, from Washington,
DC to North Carolina —
this 46th Anniversary Tour will lead audiences in concerts of worship and
praise. We are now looking for musicians who have a deep commitment to our Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ.
Rehearsals: 5/31-6/6/24
Summer Tour: 6/7 – 8/18/24 (10x)
Christmas Tour: 12/4 – 12/22/24 (4x)
Florida: 1/3-26/25 (4x)
x-weekly pay (18 weeks total)
