Last month, I was able to meet and visit with Mr. Bill Collins III, the founder and host at the SHERMAN JAZZ MUSEUM and enjoyed one of the most outstanding collections of Jazz history I have ever experienced.

Mr. Collins background as a Trumpet performer and teacher is very impressive and his dedication to this collection of Jazz history is on display to all in his Jazz Museum which originally served as the towns Masonic Temple.

Not only has Mr. Collins been able to collect and display an impressive number of actual instruments, originally owned and played by countless legends in Jazz, he continues to feature live musicians such as Randy Lee, who was performing the day we visited the museum.
