This may be only entertaining to the older set but to those of us who have lived through the latter part of the Big Band years, these videos will bring back some memories, both good and bad. Pete Barbutti was the comic humorist for every musician and was able to tell the musicians side of the stories better than anyone.

I enjoyed every minute of it, especially the second video. I aspire to be fourth trumpet player in a big band some day.
Keep up the great work, Bruce.
You need to inspire yourself to be the first chair player and as time goes by, you will find where you belong. I enjoy the second chair myself.
Best of luck and stop by often.
Merry Christmas
Love the other side shows as well. The “Neil Diamond” piano was fantastic!!
Peter Barbuti was hilarious, wise, and genuine. 4th trumpet schtick was great! Unfortunately, It is sad that america lacks any real comedians, or commentators that require any intelligence from the audience other than hustling and swindling and the zeal for expansion.
